This was a lovely retreat in the countryside with truly stunning views and a cozy communal area that made our stay feel like home. The homemade cakes left in the room were a delightful surprise that added a special touch to our experience. While the roads approaching were a bit narrow, I found the journey worthwhile for the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings.

Our family loved exploring the scenic Skipton woods nearby, which were perfect for walks with our dog. The spacious and cozy rooms made it easy to unwind after our excursions. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options that catered to everyone’s tastes.
In my wife’s opinion, the play area for kids could have been better.

A delightful countryside escape
I recently stayed for 2 nights in a double room, and I was pleasantly surprised by the stunning countryside views and the delicious breakfast featuring fresh eggs from the farm. The room was spotlessly clean and had a cozy ambiance that made it feel like home. the parking area was a bit tight, which could be an inconvenience during busy times.

Charming, Charming, Charming
This stay was truly magical! I woke up to expansive views over the Yorkshire Dales that felt like they were painted just for me. Each morning, I indulged in a freshly cooked breakfast that included eggs from the hens right outside my window, which made every bite feel special.

The place is nestled in a serene spot that lets you escape the chaos, and if the sounds of nature are your thing, you'll appreciate the tranquility. The laid-back vibe is perfect for unwinding after a long day of adventuring.
The Standard King Room needs a serious facelift. it felt worn out with an unpleasant smell lingering around, especially in the bathroom. Dust clung to surfaces like an unwanted guest, and the shower had a drainage issue right away that turned the bathroom into a mini pool. Plus, the dining area needed cleaning, with spider webs and dust making an appearance, which isn't the best when you're trying to enjoy breakfast.
